The client required a complete design and build solution for a 1 lakh sq. ft. office within a 90-day execution timeline. The design needed to represent BFIL's brand ethos—balancing forward-thinking modernity with rural authenticity and sustainability. Managing timely design approvals, sample approvals, long-lead material closures, and quality assurance while coordinating with multiple stakeholders added complexity to the fast-track delivery.
Approach
Flipspaces conducted a one-month design workshop at BFIL's Hyderabad office, fine-tuning layouts and deducing sample themes through stakeholder polling. The core design thesis "Modern Rural Biophilia" was developed to integrate executive zones, meeting rooms, cabins, collaborative areas, and workstation zones into a cohesive narrative. A mock-up meeting room was created on a bare-shell floor to establish quality benchmarks before full-scale execution.
Solution
Key design elements, including customised furniture, designer lighting, stucco finishes, 3D CNC panelling, acoustic ceilings, and coloured grid ceiling tiles, were brought to life to reflect the Modern Rural Biophilia theme. Proprietary technology ‘Vizworld’ enabled timely design, leading to minimised iterations, ensuring speed without compromising quality. Real-time remote project monitoring provided transparent progress tracking, supported by daily on-site meetings with the design and operations team.
